A nice surprise to come home to after a long weekend away shooting in Victoria, my APPA (Australian Professional Photography Awards) Silver (with Distinction) award certificate. I’ve been sitting on this news for a week or so but choose to wait for the certificate to come through before sharing of photo of it with you (ooh shiny). This is a first for me but the really great news is that with the three Bronze awards I also got this year and my existing Silver I’m well on my way to becoming an associate photographer of the AIPP. The end goal is to become a ‘Master Photographer’ (whatever that is!) but that is still several years and several awards away.
