Edinburgh, my home town. Famous for its Castle, the Royal Mile, Holyrood Palace, the Fringe Festival, Greyfriars Bobby, and of course, the Military Tattoo. On my recent trip back to Europe and the UK I went to the Edinburgh Military Tattoo for a second time, with my father. I had been as a child, but had only vague recollections so was looking forward to the splendor as an adult. This time I had booked prime seats in the South Stand, facing the action and the Castle. The evening did not disappoint.
