Thanks to all that attended my first weekend workshop. Everything seemed to fall into place and we managed to balance time spent in the classroom with some fun photographic shoots in the surrounding Blue Mountains National Park. There were some great photos captured and processed over the weekend. It was great to see everyone making the effort to get up for sunrise, getting out of bed to 3C temperatures made it all a bit more difficult.
Here’s a shot photographed near Wentworth Falls, looking across the Kings Tableland. The only clouds in the sky were right where we wanted them, giving a spectacular sunset.
Day 1 – Photoshop Basics
After the sun had set we moved to a small waterfall above Wentworth Falls for some light painting and star shots. A classroom session on photographing stars really helped us nail some great night shots at this cool location. The near full moon back light the trees giving contrast to the scene and lighting our way home.
