South Curl Curl was going off (how Australian am I?). I had donned my boardies and reef shoes to get close to the surf as I normally do expecting to get a little wet. The surf was HUGE, there was no chance I was going anywhere near it without getting a little dead let alone wet. I decided to stay high and dry up and photograph from the headland. Even still the waves where smashing up the rock face and landing right in front of me, close enough to get the adrenaline pumping!
