Indeed, it’s not always possible to get what we would’ve wanted in our composition because other things gets in our way. In such cases, we need to make a compromise. My comment is about what I think that it would’ve make the image just perfect .Just a thought, I find myself sometimes very absorbed by the whole scene in front of me, that sometimes I forget to pay attention to such details and only when I get back home I see them.I would not crop it. You have there two strong elements, the rock-pool and the clouds, that you could say that it is boring that they are placed very symmetrically. But it’s not like that, they break this symmetry in an interesting way, because they lead in opposite directions.Conclusion: I like a lot your image!
