After a ton of rain a couple weeks back, pictures of the now raging waterfalls of Blue Mountains National Park where whetting my appetite (oh dear). With the continued rain I pulled the pin on a photography course I was taking that day and headed to Hazelbrook, a new place for me to explore. On went the hiking boots, waterproof socks (yes you read right), and all the waterproof clothing I had. I spend all day exploring the waterfalls of this area including the impressive Oakland Falls. This waterfall is unique in that you can walk behind and around the entire thing. Fun was had until my camera and tripod took a dunk in the river. It would seem camera’s don’t like water all too much and now I’m cameraless until I hear back from the insurance company. Anyway here are some photos from the region. A tip for photographers taking a trip to this beautiful location, take some salt….you’ll see why 😉
Hmm never tried salt before. I think a jet lighter would work better…as soon as they feel a bit of heat they drop straight off. Nice shots btw, look fwd to seeing more of your stuff
Bloody awesome man would like to see more, no chance of seeing those suckers in NZ , have a nice day.
